The Customer
MineTAG is a Robotic Systems product, built for the operators and OEMs that need to interface with and monitor assets in harsh environments. Like Jetscreen, it is white label ready for a partner’s own branding requirements.
The Problem
Interfacing with assets across a mine site normally means assembling separate compute, communications, power and IO hardware, then finding a way to make that combination survive outdoors. Every additional enclosure and cable run is another point of failure in an environment of dust, vibration and temperature extremes.
The Technical Solution
MineTAG combines edge compute, communications and IO into a single potted, passively cooled unit that can be deployed as-is:
Quad-core ARM edge compute, up to 16GB RAM and 64GB storage
Extensive comms and IO options to suit almost any interface requirement
Completely sealed, passively cooled unit for outdoor, automotive and mining use
Two on-board M.2 slots for PCIe expansion fitted before potting
The Outcome
